Bottomless prosecco was working its magic at The Restaurant Bar And Grill in Liverpool city centre on Sunday, with a group of women breaking out into a Royal Rumble as families celebrated Mother’s Day with their loved ones.
Onlookers seemed to be enjoying the entertainment, at least, with one woman’s head thudding into a mirror on the wall:

The Restaurant Bar and Grill, which was offering mums a £20 gift voucher with their meals on Sunday, has not commented on the incident. What’s more, Merseyside Police say they have not been made aware of the incident. I mean, it’s right there on video, but fair enough. I guess if both sides called a truce at the end and no one was seriously hurt, then there’s no need to take things further.
Still, it’s the last thing you want to see when taking your mum out to lunch on Mother’s Day. Here’s hoping Father’s Day is a little more relaxed later this year.
