After we featured the 20 year old male weirdo who wanted to have plastic surgery to look like Katie Price, we’ve now got this pair of mother and daughter miscreants who refuse to diet and instead prefer to claim £33K in benefits off the government.
Their names are Janice and Amber Manzur, they’re 44, 26 stone and 25, 19 stone respectively and live in Kirkcaldy in Fife. They both basically eat ready meals, burgers, fish and chips and sweets all day, whilst riding around on mobility scooters that the government all happily pays for. They both readily admit that they have no intention of dieting in order to reach an acceptable weight so they might be able to walk around properly or get a proper job. They sound like great people right?
Janice explained her thinking:
There’s no point in dieting, it doesn’t make a difference.
I’ve always been big and I’m too fat to work, so I have a genuine disability. I should be miserable but I’m happy. I know this is the way I’m meant to be.
I can’t beat myself up that Amber is fat too.
I’d rather my daughter live life on benefits being fat and happy than depressed and thin.
It’s the way were built so I’ll never encourage her to diet as it made me so unhappy.
Amber has never stepped foot in the gym and never will.
It won’t change her weight as she is born to be fat.
We’re happy accepting being overweight and living this lifestyle.
Sounds great, right? Janice also owns a £15,000 converted Ford Qubo car that she can drive to the nearest fish and chips shop. This is just another example of why the benefits system is messed up. How can people like this with no intention of doing what they need to do in order to become functional members of society receive so much money when there are clearly people out there who need it more than they do and will do what it takes to get into a better position in their life? Baffling.
At least they’re fat and happy though I suppose.
