An Israeli girl has been named the most beautiful woman in the world after coming #1 in the “100 Most Beautiful Faces Of The Year” list.

Model and actress Yael Shelbia, 19, beat the rest of the world’s female population (over 3 billion women!) to take the top spot in the annual TC Candler list.

It’s not all sunshine and rainbows though, because Yael has this week opened up about the brutal, devastating, unfathomable, soul-crushing comments she’s subjected to by haters and trolls online. In her own words, some of the messages she receives are “not the nicest”. She told MailOnline:

I’ve received a large amount of support and love, also suitor messages I must admit and messages that weren’t the nicest. They said the normal things that haters say, nothing worth any attention.

That’s the spirit! I mean it would be pretty sad if the most beautiful woman in the world actually had her feelings hurt by faceless trolls calling her names online, and especially when you consider she’s also dating 35-year-old Brandon Korff, grandson of billionaire businessman Sumner Redston. This girl has it made!

Adding that the award arrived at a great time for her following a challenging year due to the pandemic, Yael insisted that ‘all women are beautiful’:

I think what makes a person beautiful is to be kind, humble and most of all – positive. When you are good, it is really shown in your eyes and eyes never lie.

Well said, Yael. Well said indeed! Though that’s pretty easy to say when you are basically aesthetic perfection. And how lovely that she’s got herself a billionaire boyfriend too! Really gives hope to the rest of us average Joes and Janes that there’s someone out there for us too.

Would you be able to cope with the inhumane suffering of being relentlessly trolled by some basement-dwelling losers online though? Maybe not, but that’s the kind of steely fortitude that the most beautiful woman in the world is clearly made of. Go Yael Go!
