This isn’t a Christmas menu item, but it’s one that would go down pretty well in my household over over Christmas dinner: Morrisons new Hellfire Sausages.

You’ve probably guessed from the name that the Hellfire sausages are going to be pretty spicy, but I’m not sure if you’ll be able comprehend the level of heat that we’re talking about here. The sausages will contain 100% British beef that will then be infused with three of the hottest chilies in the world: Naga Ghost, Trinidad Scorpion and Carolina Reaper and so are pretty much guaranteed to blow your taste buds off straight away.

We believe these sausages will be popular with customers preparing for a month of fright and fireworks so we’re excited for them to experience the heat – perhaps with a glass of milk on the side?

Yeah that’s not a bad idea actually is it? Unfortunately my dream of having them as part of my Christmas dinner probably won’t be realised as they’re limited edition sausages that are only available for Halloween and Bonfire Night, but I suppose I could just buy them and save them for a couple of months. £2.50 for a pack of six or £4 for two packs if you’re feeling dangerous.
