‘Morbius’ seems to have opened over the weekend exactly how everyone thought it would – by being absolutely terrible – but seems like a bunch of people still went to see it despite the negative reviews as it’s already made its $75 million budget back.

Perhaps some idiots out there actually did enjoy the movie, but one of those people definitely wasn’t Martin Scorsese, who has been famously vocal about his dislike for superhero movies in the past. Despite this though Tyrese – who plays Simon Stroud in the film – read a ridiculous fake quote from him on the internet and was so enamoured by it that he decided to post it on his own Instagram account. What a noob.
This has obviously been deleted now but of course we have the screenshots:
No way 😂 Tyrese Gibson seems to think Martin Scorsese actually saw #Morbius and loved it 😂 pic.twitter.com/Ddqh5AYccr

Wow wow wow I can’t believe what just happened whoa. Cheers and hats off to you [director] Daniel Espinosa this is so amazing king! This is the KING of KINGS of cinema Martin Scorsese. This is huge.
Lol what a dummy. As if Martin Scorsese was going to say that about any superhero movie, let alone ‘Morbius’. Did Tyrese really think that the only person in the world who enjoyed ‘Morbius’ – no scrap that, the only person in the world who thought that ‘Morbius’ was the ‘truest height of cinema’ – would be Martin freakin Scorsese. Give me a break man. Is Tyrese even aware of what everyone else is saying about the film? Has he even seen it? Guy needs a serious dose of reality.
For more of the same, check out the post credit scene from ‘Morbius’. It’s absolutely awful.
