It seemed like there were a multitude of problems with the event, and it’s also safe to say that whoever had organised it had absolutely no clue what they were doing and had perhaps never even organised a children’s sleepover before.
The honour of organising it belonged to a dude called Lorenzo Franco – who sounds kinda like a failed Communist leader. He said that he was sorry for disappointing customers and offered full refunds to everyone who had bought tickets for the event, having closed it down on Sunday morning after there were so many negative comments left on its Facebook page after just one day in operation. He claimed however that the closure was due to staff shortages and health concerns and made no mention of the negativity, despite asking customers to remember that it was his company’s first event. I’m sure they’ll be coming back to see what you’ve got planned for your second one mate.
Interestingly, the events website can still be found online and instead of being updated it just features the entirety of its original text, only with a line going through it now. You would have thought they would have issued an apology, or perhaps updated the website, but no, this is what we’re left with. I think that kind of sums up the whole company. We’re looking forward to next year because hopefully they’ll be able to top it.
