It’s pretty amazing that with all the public outrage and given Britney Spears’s impassioned speech about her ‘abusive’ conservatorship in court the other week, authorities still refuse to budge and free her from the control of her father.
Well it looks as though the #FreeBritney protests are set to continue until something is done about it, with Miley Cyrus starting a ‘Free Britney’ chant at her Las Vegas show the other night during a performance of ‘Party in the USA’…
Preach, Miley! Preach! A lot of people have been saying that for a long time. I’m not sure why she mentioned Jay-Z in there a couple of times but that’s neither here nor there. Apparently it’s going to take a lot more celebrities getting involved and making noise if they’re going to force the courts to free Britney or at least embarrass Britney’s father enough where he just agrees to end the conservatorship.
Anyway, fingers crossed it actually works because if you read the details of Britney’s situation, it’s quite an insane predicament she finds herself in. Hell, even Justin Timberlake came out in support of Britney and he’s been blanking her for years. Her fans weren’t too happy with the latent well-wishes, as you might imagine.
