A few clips have dropped over the last few months showing Mike Tyson getting into shape for his November 28th comeback fight against Roy Jones Jr.

Well in this most recent clip, 54-year-old Mike almost takes his trainer Rafael Cordeiro’s head off with a mean right hook:

Ouch. I wish the video didn’t immediately cut out on impact but it is what it is. It must be a worry for any trainer when you’re working with the likes of Mike Tyson that you could potentially get sparked out cold or seriously hurt when the fighter finds themselves deep in the zone.
Even Roy Jones Jr seems to be having second thoughts about the fight, when he spoke to Sky Sports:
If anything, I made a mistake going in with him. He’s the bigger guy, he’s the explosive guy. He’s going to have all the first-round fireworks, not me. I do have first-round fireworks, but he’s known for more first-round fireworks than anybody to ever touch boxing, other than maybe George Foreman. With him having the first-round fireworks, he’ll be against a guy smaller than him, maybe 40-50 pounds smaller than him.
This was Mike Tyson’s response:
“My definition of fun is broken eye sockets, broken jaw, broken ribs. That’s fun to me,” Tyson said last month on the “Dan Patrick Show” when asked how much fun he wanted to have with the fight.
Lovely. Should be a good time! Well, except for Roy Jones Jr. Hopefully things go ahead as planned on November 28th because it really seems like something Mike Tyson is training hard for and looking forward to.
