It’s fair to say that some of the food that comes from animals that we eat and find delicious is downright weird (the lamb’s fry is a testicle, pig’s cheek is kinda strange, caviar is a bunch of little fish eggs etc) but fish semen has to be up there as one of the rankest in theory.

The hot new culinary cuisine comes courtesy of Spanish celebrity chef Dabiz Muñoz. He was invited to try the dish – known as shirako – by another famous Japanese chef, Hiro Sato, and fell in love instantly, immediately whacking it on the menu at his famous Madrid restaurant DiverXO.
He made the announcement on his Instagram page and some of the comments were A+:
Can you feel the same as Monica Lewinsky? What madness.
Now that is Foodporn.
It’s warm from the grill and a mouthful.
It was difficult for me, but it had a very memorable texture.
It’s strange, smooth and creamy and has the taste of the sea.
Yeah I don’t know call me frigid, but nothing about that makes me want to try it? Seems so weird and icky to me to think that I would be eating warm fish semen when I was putting it in my mouth. Ew.
Nothing about it looks particularly enticing either, almost like it’s some salty creamy meringue on a bit of chocolate or whatever. Hope you enjoy it if you give it a try though.
For more of the same, check out Christina Aguilera admitting that she loves giving blow jobs and swallowing semen. Bet she would be all over this.
