After already being canned by Playboy following her explicit support for Hamas the other week, Mia Khalifa has now reportedly also had her income frozen by P0rnhub, who are donating her pay to Israel aid funds instead. Um… are they allowed to do that?

Don’t get wrong, Mia Khalifa’s posts about Israel and Hamas were really dumb and ill-thought out (especially coming from someone who’s been banned from her home country because she filmed a sex scene wearing hijab), but it seems absolutely crazy that a government or a corporation like P0rnhub can essentially steal your money if they don’t like what you say. A lot of people on Twitter are trolling Mia Khalifa over this news, but should actually be worried about the precedent this sets. Again, I’m not even sure how legal this is so I would expect Mia Khalifa to be on the phone to her lawyers as we speak. Although come to think of it, P0rnhub is a Canadian company, and Justin Trudeau’s government did the same thing to the truckers who were protesting Covid mandates a couple years ago: he made the banks freeze their bank accounts.
Well anyway, I guess it’s useful to remember who runs the p0rn industry and ensure you don’t celebrate it publicly when their nation comes under attack, particularly if you’re part of said industry. Mia Khalifa’s been silent on social media for a week now, so I guess she’s figured that out.
