Have you ever felt guilty about skipping the gym and coming home to your partner (don’t have to be gender neutral on this article because it’s specific to men) only for them to moan at you about being out of shape?

Sure that’s probably happened to most men out there, but it turns out you’ve got a foolproof excuse thanks to this new study from the University Of North Carolina. After issuing a 1000 person online questionnaire, the research concluded that men with a mid to low range intensity of work out had a much higher libido and those who engage in endurance sessions are likely to have a very low libido.
Here’s the official conclusion:
Clinicians who treat male patients for sexual disorders and/or council couples on infertility issues should consider the degree of endurance exercise training a man is performing as a potential complicating factor.

So there you have it: basically if you’re not spending ages in the gym, it’s so that you can bring it home and still satisfy your lady. There’s no way that they can be angry about that, right? Well, probably not, but at least it’s a pretty good excuse for once. I’m sure your girlfriend or boyfriend will be able to find some kind of hole in it though.
