A couple of clips from Matt Hancock’s appearance on the News Agents podcast are going viral today, the first of which shows him getting upset with interviewer Lewis Goodall when he won’t stop asking him about his lockdown rule-breaking affair with aide Gina Coladangelo:
“Stop. Stop. Stop. Lewis. Don’t interrupt me. Because I’m going to say something I’d like you to listen to…”@matthancock and @lewis_goodall come to blows.

Amazing that he feels so hard done by when he was knowingly breaking lockdown rules and lecturing the rest of us about it all at the same time. Not to mention cheating on his wife and humiliating his family in front of the world. As a politician, how can he not expect to have that brought up every single time he does a podcast?
Elsewhere in the interview, Matt Hancock claimed 9 out of 10 people stop him in the street, ask him for selfies, and basically thank him for being awesome:
.@matthancock says the majority of people who stop him in the street tell him he “doesn’t deserve the shit he got.”

I mean, there’s just no way that’s true, is it? There’s no chance the average person on the street feels that way about Matt Hancock, let alone 9 out of 10 people. Then again, he did somehow finish in third place on I’m A Celebrity last year, so who the hell knows what’s going on? It’s just strange you never happen to meet Matt Hancock supporters in the real world. Maybe I just need to get out more?
To hear Matt Hancock defend giving just £10,000 of his £320,000 I’m A Celebrity fee to charity, click HERE. Not surprised.
