After his stint in the celebrity jungle recently and an admirable third place finish, Matt Hancock announced on Wednesday that he won’t be running in the next election – and it looks as if his future lies in becoming some sort of z list celebrity TV star.

William Hill have released odds on where they think that Hancock will end up next after his upcoming stint on ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’. These include him in the usual trash reality TV but bizarrely have him tipped to become the host of ‘Good Morning Britain’ alongside Susannah Reid as well.

Preparing to step down from Parliament at the next General Election, if not before, Matt Hancock could look to branch further into TV.
Becoming the host of Good Morning Britain is a fancied step for the MP in 2023 at just 2/1, while an appearance on Question Time for the ex-Health Secretary is tipped at Evens.
Hancock showed he’s not shy of the Celebrity TV life in the jungle last month, so appearances on the Celebrity Bake Off, 8/1, and even Strictly, 16/1, could be on the agenda for 2023.
He’s also 500/1 to replace Daniel Craig as the next James Bond.
Wow. What a rehabilitation any of those would be with the guy going from one of the most hated men in the country to one of the most in demand reality TV shows in the country.
To be honest, there’s definitely some overlap in those two titles but the sad fact is that somehow Hancock does seem to have managed to get a big chunk of the general public to like him again despite his despicable actions during the pandemic. I still think he’s a twat, but I suppose we should commend him or the powers that be for achieving that because it is pretty impressive to be honest.
Anyway, looks like he’s gonna be smugly stinking up our screens for years to come. Great.
