Another day, another episode of ‘I’m A Celebrity’ where Matt Hancock said some really stupid things that have gone viral.

Hancock appeared in another Bushtucker trial last night where he had to dive around a weird structure and collect some stars whilst avoiding a bunch of snakes, crocodiles and other scary sea creatures, but it was back at the camp when talking to fellow contestant Babatúndé Aléshé that the really great moment arrived he was finnaly confronted about his affair. The following interaction is just really jokes:

Babatúndé asks former Health Secretary Matt Hancock how things have been “because you messed up”. Matt explains he just “fell in love”

Matt: ‘Yeah, no, I did. I messed up and I fessed up.

I resigned and it’s no excuse but I fell in love, right?

That also had a lot of other consequences obviously.

Babatúndé : ‘You didn’t just ‘fell in love’ you were grabbing booty bruv!’

Matt: ‘Oh give over.’

Lol do you think his PR team spent hours coming up with ‘I messed up and I fessed up’ as his tagline to try and make him seem more relatable? I just love the way he seems so bored and resigned of talking about it when Babatúndé takes the piss out of him – that affair is literally going to define his whole life and always be talked about for as long as he lives, so I think he’s gotta learn to live with that sooner rather than later. Them’s the breaks buddy.

Anyway, I love this Babatúndé guy though, you can see him just gearing up to rip into Hancock when he asked him how things have been by the huge smile on his face. Hopefully there’s a lot more of these interactions during the series because I am 100% here for Matt Hancock looking like an absolute idiot. You love to see it.
