The very obvious problem with being a virgin is that you’ve never had sex before. And when you’ve never had sex before, you can’t be sure you’re sticking it in the correct hole. For one couple in China, it took them FOUR YEARS to realise they weren’t having regular sex at all, but rather, anal sex!

According to China’s Guiyang Evening Post, the unnamed pair, aged 26 and 24, sought professional help after their attempts at getting pregnant kept failing.

The doctor inspected the woman’s anus and it was then that she concluded the couple had been mistakenly having anal sex for years, which explained why they couldn’t get pregnant despite regular intercourse, and also means the pair of them were still technically virgins.

Their doctor, Liu Hongmei, said the following:

The couple were very young, the man 26 and the woman 24. They were very healthy, but, despite being married for four years, couldn’t conceive.

Their family was giving them a lot of stress because of it.

Four years of marriage and neither the husband nor wife knew how to get pregnant. Couples so lacking in general knowledge are very rare.

But it is not uncommon for people to lack or have misconceptions regarding sexual knowledge.

The wife also confessed that sex was “unusually painful” for her every time, but she endured it in hopes of getting pregnant. Which makes you wonder whether the husband knew all along, and just wasn’t saying anything.

Admittedly, I suspected that this story was #fakenews when I first saw the headline. After all, don’t they have sex education in China? Don’t they watch porn over there? I mean, if they had, they would have soon realised that there are two holes in that region of the body that are penetrable during sex, but only one of them is primary. You can’t just keep going to the secondary hole night after night, especially if your end goal is to get pregnant.

Unfortunately for this couple, they ended up with four years of anal sex and no pregnancy, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it’s the complete opposite of what they say they were going for. Oh well, at least they figured it out in the end.
