Former Everton & Manchester United star Marouane Fellaini scored a hat-trick of headers in eight second-half minutes to earn Shandong Luneng a dramatic comeback victory over Dalian Pro in the opening round of the new Chinese Super League season this week.

What makes it even more impressive is that Fellaini has just recovered from coronavirus, having been kept in isolation at Jinan hospital during his illness. He smashed in the headers in the 79th, 83rd and 86th minutes to help Shandong claim a 3-2 victory:

Go Marouane Go! Good to see those defenders observe strict social distancing guidelines even on the pitch but come on, you’d think someone would at least mark him after the first or second header went in. Although to be fair Fellaini is 6’3″ tall and had a decent height advantage on his opponents even in the Premier League, so good luck marking him in the Chinese Super League. You can’t teach height I suppose.
P.S. Reckon they could get a bigger scoreboard up there? Not sure the supporters on Mars can quite make out the score from up there.
