Time’s Man of the Year Mark Zuckerberg got his Facebook fan page hacked earlier tonight. There’s only one response to this that anyone who’s seen The Social Network (‘Facebook NEVER goes down,’ ‘Facebook NEVER gets hacked’) will be offering: LOL.
The hacker posted a status update proposing that Zuckerberg was forsaking all of Facebook’s riches for social good which was kind of a dead giveaway that he had been hacked. As were the several references to hacking in the status update.
You would think/hope that the dude who hacked Mark Zuckerberg could have maybe done something a little less obvious and come up with something a little more creative. Although judging from this screenshot it seems that the two users Zibo Bigup and Saad Isonline (what is with these people’s display names!?) seem to have been fooled by it:
Here’s the original statement for those of you who don’t have impeccable eyesight:
‘Let the hacking begin: If facebook needs money, instead of going to the banks, why doesn’t Facebook let its users invest in Facebook in a social way? Why not transform Facebook into a ‘social business’ the way Nobel Price winner Muhammad Yunus described it? http://bit.ly/fs6rT3 What do you think? #hackercup2011‘
No news currently on who the hacker is, although it would seem that he would be leading the race to win the hackercup2011, whatever that is. You can also that bet Zuckerberg will be banning him from Facebook.
To finish this arcticle, here’s a picture of Zibo Bigup, who just accepted my friend request and seems to be a German hip hop artist:
