This image featuring Mark Zuckerberg and a crowd full of people plugged into Samsung’s Gear Virtual Reality headset was taken at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona.

It shows the Facebook CEO strolling past his plugged-in followers as he makes his way toward the stage and let’s just say it’s just a tad bit creepy:

Get a load of Zuckerberg’s face here:
I’ve never seen anyone look so chuffed with themselves in my whole life. Just last week Kanye West was begging the guy for $54million and now he casually drops this photo in all our stupid faces. He looks so delighted with the fact everyone’s plugged into this virtual reality world that he’s created. It’s like the Matrix gone completely next level except in the end there’ll be no way to know what’s real and what isn’t.
Are we headed toward a future where Mark Zuckerberg rules the world while we’re all plugged into his inventions? Is it too soon to start stocking up for the end of the world or what?
All I know is that 2016 has taught us one thing thus far — it’s Mark Zuckerberg’s world, and we’re all living in it.
