As if he wasn’t already cool enough in Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian, and The Last of Us, Pedro Pascal has also put himself in the running to replace Chris Pratt as Super Mario.
That’s what people are calling for anyway after watching this skit from SNL, in which Pascal does an A+ Mario in a dystopian reimagining of Mario Kart:
I mean, they simply have to make this. It’s just way better than anything we’ve seen from Chris Pratt’s Mario thus far. Pratt doesn’t even use an accent ffs. That’s literally the most important thing about any Mario movie – Mario’s voice!
In fact it seems Pascal is a great choice to play anyone the way things are going for him. Loving the cameos from Princess Peach, Luigi and the rest of the cast too. Best bit has to be Toad getting obliterated by Bowser’s red shell though. Check out the real voice behind Mario below – guy’s a legend:
