A man over in Thailand found himself in a desperate battle to win back his own penis, after a snake got hold of it in his toilet.

Atthaporn Boonmakchuay, 38, describes how he had squatted over his toilet for his regular morning business when the snake struck and sank its fangs into his genitals. Luckily his wife Sawittree Shooyoung heard his scream and call for a rope. When she came to the bathroom, she found her husband fighting with the 4 metre snake.

Just before he passed out from the loss of blood, Atthaporn used the rope to tie the snake to the bathroom door – that’s some quick thinking. He was then taken to a nearby hospital while the rescue team were left to deal with the reptile. Thankfully Atthaporn is in recovery, but you can tell that it must’ve been a traumatic experience judging by the horrific pictures:

Wow, that’s a mess. It makes me shiver to think that most of the blood came from his penis. Ouch. Hopefully it’s not too much of a mess and the doctors were able to repair it.
