Crazy scenes in the Latin pop world this week after a husband paid for his wife to attend an Aventura concert in the Dominican Republic… only to then see a clip of her online getting on stage with her bum hanging out, jumping into the arms of lead singer Romeo Santos, and snogging him into oblivion.

As if that wasn’t emasculating enough, the wife in question, Miriam Cruz, went on Instagram following the concert and let everyone know what a great time she had, even though it led to the end of her 10-year marriage.
Cruz shared several photos and videos from the day of the concert and wrote (translated from Spanish):
“I don’t know where to start, but I want to share how happy I feel for having achieved this long-awaited dream, one that I imagined for years both awake and asleep. For me, it’s not just about admiring the artist, but also about valuing the great human being that he is. I have followed and admired him for a long time”.
“I have to acknowledge that this achievement came at a very high cost: the breakup of my 10-year marriage. Although at the time I didn’t think about the consequences, I recognize that I let myself be carried away by nerves and excitement, without considering how this could affect my family.”
Man, poor husband. I totally understand why he’d be so upset about it given 1) she kissed another man, 2) it happened so publicly and 3) he paid for the whole thing to happen. Is he overreacting by asking for a divorce though? I mean, if she really wanted to cheat on him she wouldn’t do it on camera with millions of people watching. I think a decent fight (meaning argument) is in order, but a full-on divorce? Maybe taking it too far, but then again, maybe they had other issues they were dealing with too.

It’s also worth noting that this isn’t the first marriage/relationship that Aventura’s Romeo Santos has unwittingly destroyed. Apparently seducing other men’s wives and girlfriend is something he does at all his concerts, as witnessed below:

Well, at the end of the day, Miriam Cruz got to hook up with her celebrity crush, even if it means she lost her marriage in the process. She doesn’t seem particularly bummed out about it but I guess it must feel pretty good to tick such a big item off your bucket list.
