I think if there’s one thing that everyone in this country can agree on it’s that the state of public services has declined severely over the past few years (wonder why that is?), so I’m not sure if this guy had to go around filling pot holes with pot noodles in order to highlight that fact, but it certainly isn’t doing any harm.

Mark Morrell – who calls himself Mr Pothole, such is his dedication to eradicating the problem – has previously filled them up with floating rubber ducks, birthday cake and fishing rods to highlight the issues in his hometown of Brackley, but now he’s turned to Pot Noodles. Or more accurately Pot Noodles have turned to him as it’s quite clearly some sponsored content because they’ve forced him to use the really lame hashtag #NothingFillsAHoleLikePotNoodle.
Still, Pot Noodle are actually using their money and clout to try and do something about an annoying situation for pretty much everyone in the UK and also calling on people to hassle their councils about it in the process, so I can’t rag on them too much. Her’s what Morrell had to say about it all:
Since #NothingFillsAHoleLikePotNoodle, who better to team up with to highlight the ridiculous state of the UK’s roads than @potnoodle? Send us pictures of your worst, local potholes using the hashtag and tagging your local council! pic.twitter.com/NHlSWwk0n3

Potholes drive road users potty and me more than most.
The pothole crisis across the UK is an increasingly serious issue and something I have been campaigning on for more than 10 years.
During this period I have had to use my noodle with stunts to highlight just how bad potholes are, from floating plastic ducks in water filled potholes, birthday cakes, fishing rods and model submarines.
Since nothing fills a hole like a Pot Noodle, who better to team up with to highlight the ridiculous state of the UK’s roads?
Yeah, as lame as branded/sponsored content can be at times I kinda have to give it them on this one as it ticks the boxes in terms of virality, brand association and actually being useful for the general community as well. If only if I liked Pot Noodles.
For more of the same, check out when this guy started spraypainting dicks around potholes. Very good as well.
