The former detective who exposed Jimmy Savile’s sex crimes has revealed there’s another ‘untouchable’ paedophile he’s trying to take down.
Mark Williams-Thomas uncovered Savile as a prolific paedophile in 2012 – a year after the entertainer died aged 84. While Savile’s legacy may have been destroyed, he never had to face justice for his crimes, which spanned six decades and included hundreds of young victims.
Williams-Thomas is determined to expose and bring down more high-profile paedophiles, but is worried they too will escape justice by the time he’s able to do so. In a conversation with inews, he said:
“There are still people out there who are untouchable.
There is one very significant person who I’ve done everything to try and get prosecuted because he is clearly a child sex offender. To date the CPS won’t prosecute. The police and I have tried really hard to get there.
He will die in due course and then the floodgates will open in the same way they did with Savile. That’s not right. But justice takes many different forms.”
The child protection expert who previously worked as a detective and family liaison officer with Surrey Police added:
“The truth is no broadcaster would have done a programme about Savile when he was alive.
We live in a society where there are some people you can’t take on and that’s really sad.”
Man, I wonder who it could be. My first thought was that it has to be Prince Andrew, but he’s already been ruined by the Epstein scandal and everyone knows what he’s been up to. Besides, is he even ‘untouchable’ anymore since the Queen died?
What does ‘untouchable’ even mean in this case? Another universally-loved entertainer? A Royal family member? Or just someone rich and powerful enough to make the authorities/media think twice about going after them? Could be any high profile businessperson or current/ex politicians.
Whoever it is, I just hope Mark Williams-Thomas is able to reveal the truth before this paedophile kicks the bucket like Savile did. It’s absolutely crazy that the police are involved but are unable to prosecute before the guy dies in order to protect him. Can’t the info just “leak” somehow? Even if this scumbag isn’t punished by the law, they can at least face a good old public shaming. Nobody should be ‘untouchable’ when it comes to any crime, especially crimes involving children.
