Talent Agent Matthew Doyle made the headlines the other day after he took to Twitter to post the following statement:
I confronted a Muslim woman in Croydon yesterday. I asked her to explain Brussels. She said ‘nothing to do with me’. A mealy mouthed reply.
Obviously he was referring to the horrific terrorist attack on Brussels this week where dozens of people were killed or injured. Clearly he does not know the internet — if you’re going to make a post that is equally small-minded and ignorant as it is dumb, then you are going to get trolled. Which he did, hard. As if that wasn’t embarrassing enough, Doyle has now been arrested for ‘inciting racial hatred on social media’.
Scotland Yard said:
We have arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of inciting racial hatred on social media.
He was arrested tonight at an address in Croydon and remains in custody at a south London police station.
Comeuppance x10. He could try and argue to the police that it was nothing to do with him, although that would be a bit of a mealy mouthed reply. Anyway, incase you’re interested, here are some of the responses made to his post on Twitter:
I confronted Ronan Keating yesterday in Croydon. I asked him you say it best when you say? He said “Nothing at all". A mealy mouthed reply."

Confronted Audrey Tautou in Croydon yesterday and asked her to explain Brussels. She quoted lines from an old script. Amelie-mouthed reply.

Seriously though, terrible behaviour from Doyle. Although not as bad as this woman who went on a mental racist rant at some Muslim women for being ‘ISIS bitches’. Not cool.
