I have never been nor will I likely ever go to a Madonna concert, but if I did, I would fully expect an X-rated musical porn show for the ages given the Material Girl’s output in recent years.
Well apparently one fan didn’t get the memo, and is now suing Madonna after claiming he was blindsided by all the sex stuff during her ‘Celebration’ tour, and that Madonna should have provided ample warning to fans before they paid for tickets.
Justen Lipeles has filed a class action lawsuit, alleging he and others did not get what they bargained for at the Madonna show. Aside from the unexpected raunchiness, other complaints include: her concert started more than an hour and a half late, she was lip-syncing during parts of the show, and she had the air conditioning turned off which resulted in sweltering conditions that caused him and others to become physically ill.
Where the lawsuit turns sexual, Lipeles claims he and others were subjected to “pornography without warning”, “forced to watch topless women on stage simulating sex acts”, and says he felt like he was watching porn throughout (minus the boner, I imagine).
Again, I’m not sure WTF this Justen Lipeles fellow thought he was going to see when he bought tickets to a Madonna concert. Given her trajectory over the last few years, I would fully expect to see things that aren’t even allowed on P0rnhub or Xh@mster. It’s like the person who buys tickets to a comedy show and then complains that the jokes were offensive.
As for the lip-syncing and turning up an hour and a half late – meh, what do you expect? It happens, especially when you’re dealing with someone who calls themselves MADONNA.
The air conditioning complaint is fair enough, though. Will give him that. Turning off the AC in a public place is pretty diabolical, especially when we’re talking a hot and heavy Madonna concert. Other than that, get a grip, Justen!
For the time Madonna blasted a fan for sitting down during her concert, then realised they were in a wheelchair, click HERE. Whoops.
