In what might be the least surprising collaboration of all time, Madonna has announced that she and Sam Smith have teamed up for a song titled ‘Vulgar’ which will release on Friday June 9th.

Here’s the teaser image which I guess sets the tone:

You just know already that this song and accompanying music video will be as debauched and NSFW as possible, with its mission being to wind up the pearl-clutchers and conservatives on Twitter who will say its the devil at work and whatnot.

You also already know the song is going to completely sh*te, but will probably be a massive hit regardless.

Previously, Sam Smith had everyone outraged after they turned up to the Grammys as some kind of non-binary Satan, and then embarked on a world tour where they were doing things like this:

So basically, it’s a match in heaven hell and that’s exactly the sort of narrative and attention they’ll want when this track drops at the end of next week. Personally, I just miss the days when Sam Smith was the shy boy with the incredible voice…
