There was a rather bizarre interaction on Twitter yesterday when Spain’s iconic goalkeeper and World Cup winner Iker Casillas appeared to admit that he was gay and then defender Carlos Puyol implied that they were in a relationship before Casillas backtracked and said he had been hacked, but this might have overshadowed Madonna seemingly coming out as well.

The legendary singer posted a TikTok video where she was holding a some pink underwear alongside the caption ‘If I miss, I’m gay’. She then proceeded to very obviously miss her attempt to throw the panties into the bin.

Yeah I’m not really sure why she’s done this as I’m fairly sure that she’s talked about being bisexual fairly extensively in the past so I don’t think that this is that big a deal, but maybe it’s a reaction to the quite poor Casillas/Puyol ‘jokes’ from yesterday. Whatever the reasons though, good for her for posting about it and not seeming to care too much about it either – that really is how it should be.

Sure she could probably have put up something a little less weird and ambiguous sure, but I’m not really sure those ideas are really in Madonna’s vocabulary. Let’s hope that she clarifies the situation soon though – if she even really needs to do so.
