Love Island star Theo Campbell has lost all vision in his right eye after an unfortunate incident involving a champagne cork.

The 28-year-old was out in Ibiza enjoying his summer when the accident took place.
He shared the news on his Instagram alongside a caption explaining what happened:

Theo, who was a contestant on the 2017 series of the show, wrapped up the post with hashtags #CaptainHook, #Thor and #FettyWap, so good to see the guy has a sense of humour about the whole thing.
His girlfriend Kaz Crossley also shared a message of support online:
Again, big up Theo for having a sense of humour about it, because all jokes aside it must absolutely suck getting blinded in one eye. What a buzz killer.
On the bright side, Theo Campbell’s accident can also serve as a public service announcement to anyone else popping champagne bottles in future. Almost point the bottle outwards and away from yourself and others, so that you and everyone else may live out your days with 20/20 vision in tact.
