Kanye West has been on an absolute rampage this last week – spreading his message of ‘White Lives Matter’, claiming P Diddy threatened to murder him over it, and stunning Adidas executives by showing them porn during an important meeting.
He’s also revealed his theory around the media’s promotion of obesity and unhealthy body types while giving an interview to Tucker Carlson. He cited the celebration of Lizzo’s body as ‘demonic’ and said it was all a part of a plan to genocide the black race:

Blimey. Is there any truth to what Kanye is saying? I can see the argument that promoting unhealthy body types and a ‘love your body no matter what’ attitude can be harmful in the grand scheme of things, but to compare it to a genocide of black people? I’m not so sure it’s that deep, and I’m not sure the promotion of these ideas is targeted at just black people anyway.
In any case, Lizzo appeared to respond to Kanye’s comments during her concert in Toronto the other night, saying the following:
“I feel like everybody in America got my motherfu**in’ name in their motherfu**in’ mouth for no motherf**in’ reason.
I’m minding my fat, Black, beautiful business!”
Poor Kanye is just trying to get Lizzo and everyone else to live long and healthy lives, and this is the thanks he get? Although I guess it’s in every celebrity’s best interests to distance themselves from Kanye at the moment, seeing as he’s saying all kinds of cancellable things that he may be immune to but others may not be. The guy sure knows how to entertain us all, will give him that.
