I’m not sure what BBC Newsnight is doing interviewing Lily Phillips, but I guess OnlyFans girls sleeping with 100 men in 24 hours is mainstream news these days, and so BBC presenter Victoria Derbyshire got to ask her all about it like a proper journalist.
During the interview, Lily Phillips explained that she always thought sexual content was ‘very normal to watch’, even at a young age.
Phillips revealed she watched porn for the first time aged just 11:
‘It made me really sex confident… I learnt through pornography,’ she explained. ‘I think it had a positive effect on me.’
Despite claiming that pornography made her confident, she also admitted in the interview that it made her body-conscious, and she ended up having a labiaplasty after being influenced by unrealistic body standards in porn.
‘In comparison to what I’d seen online and what I’d seen in porn, my vagina wasn’t the norm.’
When asked whether she felt let down by her parents or the government by having been exposed to porn at such a young age, Lily Phillips did not see it that way.
‘It’s hard because sex is a part of life. I think you should be learning [about porn] from that age, because that’s when you start to think about things like that.
‘Maybe not learning from pornography, but understanding it from that age would be helpful.’
‘I don’t know life without porn.’
Has porn destroyed her brain? Lily thinks not:
‘I didn’t watch it often enough, so I don’t think it’s destroyed me, but I do think it’s destroyed people my age.
‘There’s porn I make with average guys which is normal sex… I’d like to say that’s relatable and wouldn’t damage your brain.’
Well, I guess the thing with having your brain destroyed, is that you don’t necessarily realise it’s been destroyed. Still, Lily Phillips does seem happy with her lot even with being blatantly aware of how wider society views her and her buddy Bonnie Blue.
After all, she’s making an absolute killing doing what she does. We already Bonnie Blue’s net worth – the amount of cash she makes per month is unbelievable.
