Lil Wayne (aka Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.) is a weird kinda guy.
The 29 year old rapper is covered from head to toe in tattoos, including several face tatts, and refers to getting high on ‘Purple Drank’ in several of his songs. Carter has done time for firearm and drug offences, and continues to hit the headlines with every move he makes.
Carter’s latest stunt has propelled him right to the top of the internet trending topics, with a leaked video of Carter winding up a top class American lawyer and even making threats to the lawyer on camera.
The situation is that Carter is suing Quincy Jones III because of some documentary he made a few years back which apparently used Lil Wayne’s tracks without his knowledge. In a follow up to the lawsuit, one of Quincy’s topflight lawyers interviews Lil Wayne and asks him several questions in front of a judge.
Some of the stupid/funny comments Lil Wayne makes include:
When asked if he ever hired photographers for his shows, he said: “Sorry, sir, no. I’m a superstar. People hire them themselves to photograph me.”
When asked to describe his image in the media, he said: “I don’t portray myself as anything … I am who I am and you guys portray what you think.”
At one point in the testy interrogation, after the judge had intervened several times, Wayne issued a veiled threat.
“You know he can’t save you, right, in the real world. That guy right there,” Wayne said, pointing to the judge, “he can’t save you in the real world. Just so you know.”
“What does that mean?” the lawyer replied.
“I don’t have to elaborate.”
Wayne repeats the threat later in the deposition. But when asked again what he meant, he said: “I was talking to myself.”
Check out the video for yourself below. Has Lil Wayne lost it or is he just playing the lawyer and actually not giving one fvck?
