Rapper Lil Dicky has obviously heeded the warnings of what an overindulgent lifestyle can do to you from 50 Cent’s bankruptcy case and channelled it into his latest song.

Not only is it called ‘$ave Dat Money’, but he’s also tried to follow this motif for the music video and not actually spend any money on the usual stuff you see in a rap video i.e. sick cars, sick boats, sick mansions and hot babes. Instead, he just walked around LA and asked random people if he could use all of these locations/items for free whilst he was shooting his video because he was trying to $ave Dat Money.

Unsurprisingly most people weren’t that co-operative, but he only needed a few people to say yes and ended up with an absolutely sick video:

See? That’s a way better video than most of 50 Cent’s and it cost a fraction of the price and is actually really funny too. Although I suppose Lil Dicky and 50 Cent are going for way different images with their respective videos, I doubt we’re ever going to see Lil Dicky going bankrupt and being super embarrassed because he’s too busy $aving Dat Money, am I right?
