You know exactly what you’re getting any time there’s a new Liam Neeson film coming out: the main man himself taking out bad guys who are crazy enough to mess with his family.
15 years after Taken, you’d think they would have learnt by now…
Classic Liam Neeson. The quintessential ‘I’ll kill to protect my family’ actor. It’s hilarious how he’s pretty much filmed exact same movie multiple times over the last decade plus and the only thing that changes is the title and his mode of transportation. Isn’t it time we give Liam Neeson films their own genre? How about ‘Neeson-core’?
Not sure I’d ever pay to see Retribution in the cinema, but seems a perfectly easy watch on Netflix or whatever when it inevitably ends up there. Think I’ll catch the new Nicolas Cage flick first, though. Now that does look completely mental.
