Big UFC event coming up on Saturday night with the UK’s own Leon Edwards taking on Colby Covington in the main event for the UFC welterweight title.
Ahead of that, the two clashed at the UFC 296 press conference, where notorious wind-up merchant Covington made a crack about Edwards’s dead dad. Here’s how that played out:

Too far? Probably, especially given Leon Edwards’s dad was murdered outside a nightclub when Edwards was 13. But this is the sort of trash talk that takes hype around a fight to another level, and makes it more personal for everyone involved. How awesome would it be now to see Covington KO’d in the middle of the Octagon on Saturday night, after saying something that low and disrespectful?

Covington is obviously an unreal fighter so it won’t be that easy for Edwards, but it’s guaranteed to be a hell of a scrap whatever happens. Rest of the card looks fairly stacked too, with Liverpool’s Paddy Pimblett in action against the legendary Tony Ferguson:
Looking forward to this one.
