I can’t seem to find out much about these ripped skirt buffoons, other than they’re at the tomb of one of their Presidents called Ratu Kamisese Kapaivai Tuimakilai Mara in the picture above. What the ripped skirts are about we may never know. Some sort of homage to Robinson Crusoe perhaps?
They’re certainly not intimidating whatever their origin.
