The Amber Heard/Johnny Depp trial might be on recess this week, but thankfully the eagerly awaited Rebekah Vardy/Colleen Rooney ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial is here to fill the void and reveal loads of really stupid details about the lifestyles of the rich and famous.

The trial kicked off yesterday and has already featured some really stupid moments – notably that a mobile phone belonging to Vardy’s agent was conveniently lost in the North Sea before it could be seized for evidence – but the real humdinger was when Vardy took to the stand and was reminded by Rooney’s lawyer that she once took great delight in embarrassing other celebrities. Notably when she said that Peter Andre’s dick was the size of a small chipolata after she slept with him.
Sadly, the trial won’t be televised like Depp/Heard as UK laws prevent this so here’s a news reporter live tweeting the incident:

Barrister David Sherborne asks Vardy: “Did you feel particularly strongly that the size of his [Andre’s] manhood should be made public?”
Vardy, arguing she was coerced into giving the interview: “It was something I was forced to say.”

Wow. There’s a lot of snark there from the guy writing the tweets isn’t there, but I suppose that all adds up to the fun of the trial doesn’t it? The ‘It’s Rebekah Vardy’ was a great throwback to how this all started too.
Kinda gotta feel sorry for Peter Andre who has absolutely nothing to do with this but has had the size of his manhood brought up to illustrate how much of a lying fame hungry snake Rebekah Vardy is. I think it probably is a pretty good example of how she probably did sell her stories about Colleen Rooney to The Sun. I’m not really sure how she’s hoping to prove otherwise if Rooney literally has screenshots that her account is the only one that ever saw them – surely there’s no arguing with that? – but I suppose in the eyes of the law it could be a different story. The trial continues.
