Lana Rhoades Says She’s Asexual And Wants Pornography Banned

Porn legend Lana Rhoades has come out with some unexpected quotes this week – the ex-adult film star is now ‘pretty much asexual’ and wants porn to be made ‘illegal’.

Lana, 26, explained that her perception of pornography has completely changed, especially after recently becoming a mother. Lana told The Skinny Confidential podcast that she didn’t know what she was getting into when she initially joined the industry at 19:

“I just don’t think that it’s good for anyone. They should make it illegal.

I had only slept with one person at that point. So, I was very sexually inexperienced.

That’s why and for whatever reason I never comprehended like to do porn you actually have to have sex with people.

It’s just the idea of, oh okay, I’m going to be like Anna Nicole Smith or I’m going to be like Holly Madison or this person it was like an idea in my head but I wasn’t mature enough to realise what actually went into it.

And very, very quickly I realised this isn’t for me.”

One of the most disappointing revelations she had was that being a porn star is a ‘job’ and you don’t get to choose who you have sex with. If only!

“I mean, essentially you’re having to have sex with people that you didn’t choose to have sex with that you might not find attractive you might actually think that they’re disgusting and you have to have sex with them because it’s your job.”

She went on to add that she thinks the industry puts young women in a vulnerable position:

“How should a 19-year-old girl be put in that position having to have sex with people that they don’t really don’t want to touch their body at all.”

It is actually very messed up when you think about it. Lana also confirmed that she doesn’t often ‘find people attractive’ or ‘hook up’ regularly:

“Honestly, I’m pretty much asexual.

Pretty much like I never hook up with people, I don’t find people attractive, and I’ve always been like that it’s not like there’s like a change after doing porn.”

Damn, sounds like her brief stint in porn really messed her up. She barely even finds people attractive anymore, though obviously she found someone attractive enough to have a baby with so that’s good (a mystery NBA player apparently). I’m not sure I can take her calls to ban porn too seriously given she still has an OnlyFans that she makes serious $$$ from, but I guess you can argue OnlyFans isn’t quite the same as being shagged by gross men on camera.

Lana is apparently doing really well making clothes and lingerie these days, so more power to her. Any young woman looking for a career in porn – you have been warned!
