A dude named Nikesh Shukla and his two friends got a Tandoori lamb chop from East London curry house Tayyabs, drove it all the way to the Cotswolds, then sent it on a journey to outer space attached to a balloon and GoPro camera.
GPS contact was lost less than a couple hours after take off, but months later a Dorset farmer got in touch with the boys to say he’d found the camera with lamb chop intact.

It’s pretty incredible how regular people like you and me can send random objects into space with such ease in 2014. Still not the weirdest item that’s ever been sent into space though.
