As the rest of the world trudges to work in sweatpants, unable to even try anymore thanks to Donald Trump getting elected as U.S. president, Lady Gaga has taken to protesting outside Trump Tower.

Love her or hate her, the beautifully batshit star has been extremely vocal in her support of Hillary Clinton, not only on social media but by making an appearance to speak and perform at her final rally. Although, unfortunately, any chance of the swing states seeing sense at the final hour was only a ‘perfect illusion’ (hur hur).
Gaga was also among the musicians who threw shade in the direction of Donald Trump’s victory this morning – tweeting ‘say a prayer America’ as she heard the result.

Now, she’s stood on a sanitation truck with a sign that reads ‘Love trumps hate’ outside of Trump’s own Trump Tower in NYC.
She previously waded into the political debate to challenge Trump’s much berated wife Melania. After Melania condemned online bullying in a recent speech, Gaga tweeted Melania:
To say u will stand for ‘anti-bullying’ is hypocrisy. Your husband is 1 of the most notorious bullies we have ever witnessed.
Clearly remembering that Melania has no agency over any of the words that come out of her own mouth, (note that speech ripped straight from Michelle Obama) she then tweeted at Donald Trump. Backing the opposition again, she wrote:
You divided us with hateful language & fear. I love everyone in this country and I vote for @HillaryClinton to unite us.
On a gloomy day like today, both in the political sense and in the sense of the shit British weather outside, it’s nice to hear someone with a platform who can’t be accused of being a career-politician having their say. Here’s to hoping she turns her protest up a notch to wearing-raw-steak-as-a-dress levels.
