It’s pretty much a universal truth that ‘Game Of Thrones’ had one of the worst finales of all time – rivalled only by ‘Lost’ perhaps – and it becomes even funnier when you hear that the actors involved haven’t even bothered watching it because they knew it was so bad.

This is the revelation that Kit Harrington – who played Jon Snow on the show – came out with  during a recent Q & A on social media, where he talked about the finale and clearly had no idea what had happened during it:

When people say to me, ‘I wish you’d been on the Throne or I wish you’d been with Dany on the Throne,’ I disagree because Jon’s place was always in the North.

He’s never have been happy in the South. He’s like Ned Stark. Ned goes to the South he’s in danger… [Jon] belongs North of the Wall.

Er dude? Dany didn’t end up on the throne because YOUR character actually killed her because she became such a psychopath? And the Iron Throne didn’t even exist any more because a dragon burned it down? And Jon Snow was banished North of the Wall because of his actions?

I guess he kinda got the last bit right, but even so it doesn’t sound as if he’s that clued up on what went down in the finale. You would think if you spent eight years of your life involved with something you might wanna check out how it ended up, but I guess I haven’t ever appeared in a TV show that ended up universally panned so maybe there is a different vibe there.

Really does sum it up though that he didn’t even bother finding out what happened. Thank you for wasting eight years of our lives David Benioff and D.B. Weiss!
