There’s been a worrying trend recently with fast food outlets releasing weird products that smell like their food and it isn’t showing any sign of stopping anytime soon with KFC’s recent announcement that they’re releasing a sun tan lotion that smells like fried chicken.

Why anyone would want to cover themselves in what is effectively fried chicken grease is beyond me, but if you’re lucky enough to live in the United States then you can pick up the ‘Extra Crispy Sunscreen’ for free. All you have to do is head on over to the KFC website and sign up.
KFC then promise to ship you the sun tan lotion within the next eight weeks, although that seems kind of useless as the earliest you’ll get it is just in time for Halloween, which isn’t exactly known for being the sunniest of holidays. It’s SPF 30 cream in case you’re wondering.

Yeah I’m still not entirely sure why anyone would want that even after that excellently produced advert, but apparently it’s ALL already sold out so if you’re reading this then you’re probably too late to grab a tube. If they even exist and it wasn’t just a lie in the first place. I suppose if it was free and I could get a tube then I might have checked it out. I mean you can’t look a gift horse in the mouth can you?
