Just when you thought that Katie Price couldn’t get any shallower, it’s now being reported that she’s given away her new puppy months after getting him because he ‘no longer looks cute on Instagram.’
In the last few years, seven pets have died under Katie Price’s care, so I guess the German Shepherd, named Tank, is pretty fortune to have escaped with his life. It’s amazing the RSCPA even allows Katie to own pets anymore, given 35,000 people signed a petition asking them to step in and do something about her treatment of animals.
A source said: “Katie only got [Tank] a few months ago but she gave him away to her electrician. She loves getting puppies that look cute on Instagram but when they start to grow up and she has to train them she loses interest.”
Now look, this is all coming from an anonymous source so it could be that Katie Price has given her new puppy away for a completely different reason altogether, but given her history with pets, it wouldn’t be shocking at all and it will be even less shocking when she turns up on Instagram again soon with a new puppy.

Bizarrely, Katie Price’s dogs always seem to end up dying after being hit by cars. Her ‘protection dog’, Blade, died after being hit by a car. Seven months before that, her dog Sharon was killed on the same road. A year before that, another of her dogs was hit by a delivery driver and died from its injuries.
Her French bulldog Rolo also died after being squashed and suffocating under a chair in her home. She also had to give away her Alsatian named Bear after it kept attacking other dogs. Is this really a person who should be allowed to look animals?
Not long ago, we revealed that Katie Price’s car insurance is at 5 figures due to her long history of driving bans and offences. I feel like we’re one of the few publications that try to stick up for Katie Price (well, sometimes), but it’s like she can’t do anything without it turning into an complete disaster.
