In what might be the most obvious attention-seeking attempt from one of the biggest trolls in showbiz, Kanye West showed up to his own YZY SZN 9 fashion show in Paris last night rocking a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt.
Ye, who was also wearing a pair of diamond-studded flip-flops, later welcomed Candace Owens to the event in the same T-shirt, just to send the outrage levels into overload…
I guess he could have gone with ‘All Lives Matter’, but then that wouldn’t p*ss off nearly as many people as ‘White Lives Matter’. The phrases are often associated with various far-right ideologies and fervent Trump supporters. As you may remember, Kanye came out in a support of Trump a few years back, wearing a MAGA hat and everything.
As with back then, this seems to be nothing more than a marketing technique to bring as much controversy and as many eye balls as possible onto his fashion show. At this point the guy will literally say and do anything for attention so this latest stunt doesn’t come as a surprise at all, even though his peers, like rapper Lil Boosie, are really upset with him…
So in the end, it’s just Kanye doing what he does and getting the exact reaction he wants out of it. You can bet he’s got something to promote any time he does something controversial like this, whether it’s his music or fashion line. He’s even got dreadlocked models wearing the same shirt:

Just Kanye doing Kanye things. Everyone seems to have sussed it out, but still can’t stop talking about the guy. I guess no publicity is the only bad publicity, as far as Kanye’s concerned.
