Forget Donald Trump – in four years time it looks like we could have none other than the painfully dumb “musician” known as Kanye West. God help us all.

When Donald Trump declared his run for presidency, I don’t think any of us ever dreamed he’d make it as Republican frontrunner, let alone actual President of the U.S. It’s a shocker that someone who has no political experience or even the most basic integrity or morals is now in charge of the most powerful country in the world.
With that in mind, perhaps we should start worrying now about Kanye West’s latest statements. During his acceptance speech at Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards, the rapper concluded by announcing a presidential bid for the election in four years from now. He said:
I don’t know what I finna lose after this. It don’t matter, though. It’s not about me. It’s about ideas. New ideas. People with ideas. People who believe in truth.
And yes, as you probably could’ve guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president.

Is it me or did he seem completely serious when making that remark? Fuck me, if we thought Trump was bad due to his lack of experience, if Kanye West gets in they’ll have a leader who can’t even string a sentence together. I think people in America are beginning to lose sight of what a president is. It’s not a popularity contest of the guy who can throw the best insults. Obviously when I aim that remark at America, I’m only really speaking to the Trump supporters – and I realise that if you’re reading this, that probably ain’t you.
I hope to god that this was all just a joke – imagine Kim Kardashian as the First Lady.
