It’s kind of hard to keep track of all the problematic lines that Kanye West is coming out with at the moment as the guy seems to be going for some kind of world record, but his comments about George Floyd last week were up there near the top and might be coming back to bite him in the ass.

In case you missed it, for some reason Ye thought that it was a good idea to say that George Floyd wasn’t murdered by the police leaning on the back of his neck and suffocating him, but instead from taking fentanyl. This is obviously in direct contradiction to what an autopsy on his body found, although there were traces of fentanyl in his system. Traces is probably the key word there, but Ye definitely knows better than trained doctors because you know, he’s Kanye West.
Anyway George Floyd’s family (the mother of his daughter and said daughter, so a bit of a push) have now issued the following cease and desist statement through The Witherspoon Law Group and Dixon and Dixon Attorneys at Law, calling Ye repugnant and revealing that they are planning to sue him for $250 million. Check it out:
Yeah I imagine The Witherspoon Law Group and Dixon & Dixon Attorneys at Law are probably fairly big time law firms if they’re trying to come at Kanye West like this, but this press release and their logos kinda make them look like Saul Goodman style ambulance chasers. Lol.
Anyway, I imagine Kanye will probably try and throw a couple of million at them outside of court to settle and they’ll probably gleefully take it, although I would absolutely love to see Kanye on the witness stand. Can you imagine what kind of crap he would come out with up there?
For more of the same, check out when Kanye West kidnapped and decapitated Pete Davidson in a music video. Like that’s normal.
