I don’t know how much Justin Bieber actually knows or cares about the Israel/Palestine conflict, but as a A-list superstar he’s pretty much obligated to do some performative activism on social media. Unfortunately, that involved posting a picture of an obliterated area in Gaza while sharing the words ‘Praying For Israel’ over it:

Naturally, everyone on IG was quick to point out Bieber’s error and call him out on it. Did he address it? Maybe try again and include Palestinians in his prayers this time? Nope, he just deleted it, changed the image, and went about his day:

Welp, what do you expect from the guy who once said that Anne Frank would be a Belieber? It’s actually kind of funny and endearing that he comes out with stuff like this, even if he manages to offend millions of people in doing so. Mostly though, it just goes to show how most celebrities have NO idea what they’re supporting/talking/posting about half the time. They’re only interested in the trend, and that’s it.
