Jordan Peterson’s work in the field of self-help and psychology has been immeasurably useful to millions of people around the world, but sometimes you wish he’d calm down a bit when it comes to picking unwinnable battles on social media.
The other day, he objected to plus-size model Yumi Nu appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated…
Sorry. Not beautiful. And no amount of authoritarian tolerance is going to change that. https://t.co/rOASeeQvee

Well that’s basically Twitter 101 on how to ensure you receive insane amounts of fury, backlash and ridicule. Sure enough, that’s what happened…

I’m a huge fan of yours & am always getting my young adult sons & daughter to watch your videos. I’ve even gifted your self-authoring course. But I have to disagree. Beauty is subjective. You can be older or heavier & still be beautiful. Is it standard beauty? No.

Why do men feel it’s their duty to publicly pronounce their view on the attractiveness of women? Couldn’t you just keep it to yourself?

i love your talks… but this comment is beyond disappointing. you may not even know on how many levels this is disturbing. try interviewing more young women on your podcasts. you’ve got a lot to learn. until then, stop criticizing women’s bodies

“I’m Jordan Peterson and I demand to be the biggest boob and ass in the room.”
— Ana Kasparian (@AnaKasparian) May 16, 2022
He even inadvertently insulted a fan with a BBW girlfriend…
There’s literally thousands of comments brutally ripping into him, and the backlash was so bad that Peterson announced he was leaving Twitter (he will only post updates through staff in control of his account). Probably a good idea.
I think what he was trying to say though is that being overweight is unhealthy and that authoritarian “wokeism” ignores this by celebrating bigger body types. There’s certainly a conversation that could be had there but the way he went about it by dissing Yumi Nu on her big day wasn’t the greatest idea in the world. Whatever happened to Rule #10 – be precise in your speech?
Well anyway, let’s round this off with some pics of Yumi Nu, if that’s OK with everyone…
For the time Penguin Random House employees broke down in tears because their employer announced they were publishing Jordan Peterson’s new book, click HERE. Oh come on, he’s not that bad…
