Johnny Depp has kind of been laying low for the last few months after going on a massive victory tour all over the UK with Jeff Beck following his victory over Amber Heard in the most publicised courtroom trial of last year, but now it’s emerged that he’s moved to the UK permanently and left the United States behind

Johnny had been staying at the house of Jeff Beck in Sussex until the guitarist’s sudden death last month from meningitis, at which point he decided to move into London. Here’s what a source close to him revealed about the decision:
The hubbub and craziness of LA and New York can be exhausting.
As much as London and Paris are busy, thriving cities, Johnny still feels he can relax and be creative there.
He has always loved Europe, and people love him there.
He feels very at home there and finds the European lifestyle a bit more his speed.
So does that mean he’s also hanging out in Paris a bit as well? Unsure.
Anyway, I find it kind of surprising that he wants to settle in the UK considering a judge over here actually found him guilty of beating up Amber Heard when he sued The Sun for defamation, but he is right about people loving him in this country. Whatever makes him comfortable I suppose.
If you’re in London, keep a look out for Depp walking his dog across Hampstead Heath or having a beer at The Lock Tavern in Camden, perhaps visiting Beavertown Brewery up in Tottenham or enjoying a Tyskie and a BBQ in London fields come the summer. The possibilities for bumping into the guy really are endless when he’s such a man of the people.
Depp is also currently staying with friends and in hotels with no permanent fixed abode so could literally show up anywhere in the city. Keep an eye out.
