Kate Moss is all set to take the stand today at the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial (here’s the reason why), and this has prompted a bunch of classic stories about Depp & Moss’s relationship to go viral.

Depp and Moss met when the actor was 31 and model was 20, and their romance lasted from 1994 – 1997. Here’s what Moss said about their first meeting (via NY Post):

“I knew from the first moment we talked that we were going to be together.”

They claimed to have had sex in every single room of the legendary Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, and Depp reportedly filled a tub with champagne at London’s Portobello Hotel for them to bathe in.

Before you go thinking that’s the most romantic thing Depp ever did for her though, there’s also this story about how he presented Moss with a brand new necklace:

“He gave me a diamond necklace which he had hidden down the crack of his arse!

He said, ‘Come on, we’re going to the Russian Tea Room for dinner’ … as we were going out the door, he said, ‘Kate, I’ve got something on my arse, you have to look, I don’t know what it is, will you have a look for me,’” she told Nick Knight’s Fashion Film. “I’d only known him like three months! I put my hand down the back of his trousers and pulled out this f–king Tiffany necklace. It was nice not to find a boil. That necklace is f–king class…”

Well, whoever said romance was dead obviously never heard about Kate Moss pulling a diamond necklace out of Johnny Depp’s butt crack after they were done shagging in a bath-tub filled with champagne. Makes you wonder about the Amber Heard poop incident – maybe she was expecting a necklace to land in the bed or something?

Either way, I’m sure at least part of Kate Moss’s testimony will be doing the rounds on all the blogs later today. By all accounts Johnny & Kate are still buddies and she’s never had a bad word to say about the years they spent together. Not looking good for Amber Heard at all.
