It’s been well publicised that Johnny Depp has permanently moved to Somerset following his successful trial against Amber Heard and somehow squashing the domestic abuse charges that had been levelled at him and unsurprisingly he’s now banging on about how much he loves it over here.

Depp was speaking to ‘Somerset Life’ – sounds like an awesome publication – when he said the following:

I just love places with character. British people are cool and will greet you as if you are a neighbour — without going over the top.
I like going to places, seeing things and meeting people — but I’m not the great extrovert that people think.
In truth, I’m quite a shy person.
That’s one of the great things about Britain, and especially Somerset. I can just be me — and that’s nice.
I can go into shops without being surrounded by people wanting selfies. I don’t mind that up to a point, but sometimes it gets a little too crowded.
Well that’s nice for him isn’t it, although it seemed like everyone was asking him for selfies all the time when he went on tour with Jeff Beck last year following the conclusion of the Amber Heard case. Maybe he’s got a bit of a selective memory about that?
Anyway, hopefully he can go back to living the quiet life and not get into major fist fights with his loved ones all the time anymore. Fingers crossed for the poor guy.
For more of the same, check out Johnny Depp taking a helicopter to an antiques store recently. Perfectly normal life he’s living in England hey.
